The GlowPanel® is a plug and play grow light. There are no ballasts or reflectors needed. It works right out of the box. The GlowPanel® lasts 50,000 hours. Hanging kit included. Glow Your Own®. 14 watts/110v
Why LED?
LEDs produce light more efficiently, can burn brighter longer, emit virtually no heat and the wavelengths of light can be controlled to the nanometer. This is why LEDs are ideal for growing plants; they are extremely energy efficient and can produce the exact spectrum of light that plants love. In fact, LED's work so well that NASA uses LED technology to grow plants in space.

Worked for a while July 2, 2010 Cynthia (Wisconsin) This light was shipped quickly and packed carefully. When we got it set up, it worked nicely for two days. The third day, when we plugged it in, nothing. Changed outlets, still nothing.
I called the company three times, and each time was told that the person I needed to talk to wasn't there. Twice I left detailed messages, over two weeks, but never got a call back. I waited for another couple weeks, and by that time it was close enough to spring that we just moved the plant outside.
I would not buy from this company again. (The product gets two stars for working two days.)

i, like most people, dident know much about the whole LED grow light thing. but let me say the light does work, i now have a flouresent light in addition to this light and the plants still reach for the LED light moreso. where the problem with this product lies is in the customer service of Sunshine Systems. the first light i bought, not even a week later, started flashing and flickering. i contacted the shop i bought it from and he put in a request for a replacemet. it was over a month later i recived the replacement, after i filed a complaint with Amazon. it was entirely the manufacturer's fault for the wait as i was shown the communication between the two. the new light is working fine, no issues. so in a nutshell, if you recieve a properly assembled product, you will most likely love it.
Not as impressive as I'd hoped May 11, 2010 Christian Boyce 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have the Glow Panel lighting up some tomato seedlings, replacing a fluorescent light. I think the fluorescent light worked better. Also, it would be nice if this thing had an on-off switch, but it doesn't. You have to unplug it to turn it off. It does seem to work, at least some, as the plants are still growing, but I was expecting more spectacular results. I think I was going better with the fluorescent.
Worked like a charm -- cool operating temperature. April 10, 2010 BuzDeLaBuz2 (Boston, MA) We bought 1 one these and 2 of the 28W models to correct "leggy seedlings" issue we had with trying to use windows to grow seedlings.
See my blog about it:

The heat generated by the lamps is minimal.
For compact inside green houses, they work great.
May be a bit pricey.
Sunshine Systems LEDGP14 LED Grow Light 14WT FAIL April 4, 2010 W. Draper (Salt Lake City, Utah) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought one of these lights, tested it right out of the box, it took a second to illuminate but worked, so I tried it in the space I was going to use it and it worked fine again. The third time - nothing.
So I sent it back and as always, Amazon replaced it promptly. The same thing happened again! Well this time it was all set up, hung etc... it did work for 20min until I unpluged it and pluged it back into a timer- then nothing.
I have contacted the manufacture for some help, we will see. But I get the feeling that I will be sending this one back as well. It's too bad because when it's on its great as far as output and spectrum.
More to come...
