These Conversion Adapters are required if upgrading from 1000gph or smaller Intex pump system to 1500gph or LARGER Intex pump system. **Please note this is the only item you will need when upgrading your pool pump system** **If your new pump system did not come with 2 hose and nuts, 2 plunger valves, and 2 strainers, you will need to contact the company you purchased your pump system from as there are several sellers that will take parts out and resell them to make more money**

I purchased a new pool filter for my Intex 15ft. round pool, and absolutely had to buy these adapters for the filter to fit my pool. I had been looking around for these adapters on amazon, and I came across the adapters that I bought from this seller, and he added the comment that these adapters were the only thing you needed to purchase along with the new filter! I was planning on buying other parts, until I read his most helpful comment! I found a reputable seller who left all the filter parts in the box, instead of taking them out and selling them to you seperately!!! So the adapters are perfect, I got easy to understand instructions with the adapters! I was able to easily hook up the adapters. They came in record time, and the shipping costs were very reasonable! I saved a bunch of money by buying adapters from this seller as well! So Thank you for a great product and easy to read instructions, and some well needed info on the filter as well!

Not sure why this is considered a "toy" and rated as such but I gave it high marks as it contributes to my pool's pump system working properly and THAT contributes to our family fun. These conversion adapters are actually ALREADY INCLUDED in the Intex Krystal Clear Deluxe Saltwater System with built-in pump so DO NOT ORDER THESE IF YOU ORDER THAT PRODUCT. I now have two extras!! However, they are indeed needed if you intend to upgrade to a larger pump for the 10' pool. I highly recommend doing so as smaller pools get nasty FAST and the higher volume pumps make it a LOT easier to keep the pool ready with very little effort (especially when combined with the saltwater system)!!

The only problem I had was getting this delivered, for some reason the seller contacted me and asked me if my address was deliverable by the USPS. Everything else ordered was delivered to my home, this included a upgraded filter/pump. I had to email the seller three times and finally got it delivered after 3 weeks. The adapters are working, I wish that they would tighten alittle more, but they are working.

I bought these adapters so I could upgrade my pool pump size. This product does not fit properly to the Intex pool/hose system. I makes a REALLY loud sound when the pump is on, as air gets into the converter and "wobbles" the rubber ring inside it. When we called the company for a solution he had none. I have now sent 3 emails about returning this for a refund and have received no response. Not to mention, they charged $6 to ship these two small items in an envelope with no packing slip. I would not recommend this product, or this company, to anyone!
