I bought these wheels to replace the ones on my Craftsman lawn mower. This lawn mower has unique wheels, whereby there is a ring gear inside the back of the wheel (poor design by Craftsman). The original wheels had stripped the gear (after a year of use), and the self propel would no longer function. These wheels fit perfectly, and self propel once again works. I may buy another set to keep on hand, I can see these wheels having to be replaced after a period of time due to craftsman's design flaw of the self propel mechanism. The drive gear is metal, and the ring gear in the wheel is plastic. I think they should have made a metal ring gear to fit the inside of the back of the wheel, instead of plastic, and it would have extended the life of them.

This is just what I needed to repair this front drive wheel. It is an exact fit. It is all "hard" plastic and rubber and although I am concerned about it wearing out like the original one did, it is functioning perfectly. These wear out because the drive gear is metal and rotates on the inside "teeth" of the wheel which are hard plastic and eventually get "chewed" up so it is my second time to replace this wheel. Probably a design flaw of the mower/drive complex.

Originally I had bought a drive wheel from Sears on-line so I was skeptical about this being the exact fit but it is and is cheaper and appears to be exactly the same.

Okay product, however not a direct replacement. Counter bores for axle nut were smaller than original. Required modification of nut. Shipping was better than expected.

This is the exact part I needed for my lawn mower, at a much more reasonable price. The shipping was a little steep, but they are heavier than I would have thought. I still saved a significant amount of money over what Sears would have charged for it.

Good value and saved a few $$$ to boot....can't go wrong there. A review of this product is like claiming the water I bought is wet. They are wheels, they fit since they were exact replacement parts from AYP. They work as intended.
