I purchased this box of 50 plugs for $8.95, normally selling for around $20. I'm not sure if anyone would pay the MSRP of $122.20. I ganged it with another product to get free shipping.

I use headphone protectors for yard work. They leak a lot of sound around my sunglasses. These protectors prevent that, but they still allow too much noise for me. So, I use both protectors and get the best sound reduction ever.

I also like the construction that is much better than the foam units.

I don't give much weight to 'doctor's' who write review's on websites, - so I was pretty disappointed when it looked like the physician who rated this device poorly - was right. When I first put them in they offered NO noise reduction/protection.

However, cutting off the ends of the plugs with a razor knife makes them work PERFECTLY for me.
- one size does not fit all, but these are adjustable (with a knife) to fit.
In my case I cut them off just below the first flange (from the tip) - and they now seal just like they should. They cut off perfectly smooth and rounded - actually much more 'blunt' than they started, making them more comfortable, and more useful.

I've used the Milwaukee Air Soft ear plugs several times. They are very good. They reduce the noise levels when I am mowing my lawn and I know that is good for my hearing. Also they are easy to clean with dish soap and water. I recommend them.

Good ear plugs. Very inexpensive and usefull plugs. I would certainly buy again at this price. This box of 50 Pairs, each in its own plastic case, was cheaper than one pair of military ear plugs.
