4 out of 5 stars Does the job   June 24, 2010

This has done the job for me. I've tried others but they were too small to be effective.

It isn't the prettiest thing to have on your shower, but if you use a liner on the inside of the tub and a decorative curtain on the outside you don't see it anyway. It isn't really sturdy enough if you have young kids who like to hang on to that kind of thing, and I still have to make sure the shower curtain is hanging just right or I get a puddle outside. I only use it on the faucet end of the tub, I don't need it on the back end. When my kids are a bit older I'll use the 2nd guard on their tub.

What I would like to see is a curved model of this. As in it starts out at the top on the outside edge of your shower and then curves in at the bottom so water runs into the tub. This would help with having to make sure the curtain is hanging correctly each and every time.

Of course a better designed bathtub with a flat transition from shower to tub would eliminate the need for this product. But sometimes you have to deal with what you have, and this splash guard has helped me do that.

I love these things. They save the floors from the water. I can't live without them. Easy to install.

4 out of 5 stars I had to laugh while installing these, but they work   March 6, 2010

These things are ridiculously huge. The 44" thing just doesn't really measure in most people's minds until they're holding it in their hands, but these things are massive. I had to use silicone caulk to get them sealed against the tub/walls, but after everything was all dried and finished I haven't had one single drop of water leave the shower while it's running. These things are ridiculous, but they're AWESOME. Definitely worth the effort.

works well. Fit had to be adjusted, and used copius amounts of bathroom caulking to seal. Other than that the floor in the kids bathroom no longer resembles a swamp after their round of showers.
