 My dad is thrilled with these - July 16, 2010

I bought these as a gift for my dad when his old earmuffs broke -- I read a bit about noise-cancelling gear, ear protection and decibel levels a bit before I selected these, and chose these for their specified noise-reduction ratings [up to 105dB] -- but the proof is that my dad is thrilled with these. He wears them when he mows, uses the electric hedge trimmers or other noisy equipment, and he loves them. He says they look kind of like his old ones, but that these are not only much more effective, but also more comfortable to wear.
He's had them about a month -- so far, very pleased.

Much better than those you buy off the shelf. Effective in cutting out machinery (trimmers/lathe) noise, not so selective on speech. but at least metallic strap will not break that easily (<6 months, so far holding up). You do get some sweat from the cushion around the ears though.

Gun Trainer
Good Quality product. Fits my 4 yr old, my wife and myself, really surprised at that.
First thing they both wanted was their own set, need I say more.
Worked great at range, just need to order more.
They are really big muffs if that bothers you. But they work nice and are comfortable.
